Fashion and Architecture
Fashion – Asian American designers have helped shape fashion in the US, include prominent designers like Vera Wang, Anna Sui, Alexander Wang and Jason Wu (who designed Michelle Obama’s dress for the presidential inaugural ball).
Architecture – I.M. Pei was a Chinese American architect. While he was most famous for the Louvre Pyramid in Paris, he also designed many notable building in the US, including the National Gallery East Building in Washington DC, John F Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston, and Javits Convention Center in New York.
