Mike Shinoda

Japanese American Mike Shinoda is one of the vocalists for Linkin Park, one of the biggest rock/rap names of the 2000’s. In 2005, his side project Fort Minor released an album including the track “Kenji,” the true story of his father’s experience in Los Angeles and in the Manzanar internment camp during WWII.

Rap verses from Shinoda are interspersed with interview clips from his father and his aunt talking about their experiences.
