Asha for Education is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of basic education in India. Asha means hope in many Indian dialects.

Asha Stanford was founded in fall of 1992 by a group of students who understood the importance of education and the need to provide such opportunities to the underprivileged.

Asha Stanford has sponsored the annual Holi celebration. Holi is the Festival of Colors and the Festival of Spring. Holi Stanford uses more than 5000 lbs of food-grade colors to celebrate spring in support of a good cause.
